Garri Saganenko writes mostly poetry and essays. In June of 2023 he published his debut book 180 Pounds of Poet Meat. To assist with the publication costs of this book, he received an Artist Grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. In 2025 his conversational essay A Devil That Loves A God That Hates appeared in You May Now Fail To Destroy Me, a collection of writing containing the work of American writers on the topic of their 'most dangerous beliefs.'
Otherwise, he currently maintains a Substack, which is where he shares most of his latest writing.
